NGHS PLAYERS presents "The Good Times Are Killing Me"

NGHS Players performs this heart-felt show about growing up and growing apart. THE GOOD TIMES ARE KILLING ME this weekend at 7pm.

The Good Times Are Killing Me focuses on the complex emotional world of children growing up in the 60’s during segregation. Edna forms an unlikely friendship with Bonna Willis, a girl with a talent for “kicking-butt.” These 12 year old best friend, one black and one white, stand by each other through upheval and tragedy, in spite of each families disapproval. There are pressures from both sides against their friendship; this eventually drives a wedge between the girls.
