Based on the hit film, SHREK THE MUSICAL is a Tony Award-winning stage musical that has swept the world with its magic. Featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, CAROLINE OR CHANGE) and a side-splitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire as well as cult SHREK anthem I’m a Believer, SHREK THE MUSICAL brings all the much-loved characters to life, live on stage, in the show that proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears!

“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek…” And thus begins the fairy tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand...and his name is Shrek.

This musical brings a story of adventure, friendship and ogre love that’s bringing ugly back! SHREK THE MUSICAL is a treasure trove of creative opportunities including costumes, sets, puppets, not to mention a fire-breathing dragon. With its irreverent fun for the whole family, audiences will delight in seeing all of their favorite characters from the movie come to life and leave the theatre cheering for more.
