DeKalb Work Readiness June Schedule

DeKalb County Chief Executive Officer Burrell Ellis announced the June 2012 schedule for the “Work Readiness Workshops” offered at DeKalb Workforce Development. 

The workshops support the ONE DeKalb Works initiative by providing work readiness tips and services. Topics of training include “Resume Writing,” “Interviewing Techniques,” “Personal Branding & Marketing: Part I & Part II,” and “Networking.”

The workshops are designed to empower job seekers with essential work readiness skills needed to secure employment. Residents are encouraged to attend the workshops at DeKalb Workforce Development located at 320 Church Street, Decatur, GA 30030.

Below are scheduled times and days for the work readiness workshops for June 2012:

Interviewing Techniques
Mondays, 2 - 4 p.m.
Thursdays, 2 - 4 p.m.

Resume Writing
Mondays, 10 a.m. - noon
Thursdays, 10 a.m. - noon
Fridays, 10 a.m. - noon and 2 - 4 p.m.

Personal Branding & Marketing: Part I
Tuesdays, 10 a.m. - noon

Personal Branding and Marketing: Part II
Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - noon

Networking
Tuesdays, 2 - 4 p.m.
Wednesdays, 2 - 4 p.m.
