Fire Victims Need a Home for the Holidays
The Bogle family is still displaced a month after a fire destroyed their Tucker home.

By Tiffany Bogle
I am the mother of the family whose house caught fire on Nov. 18Β that you wrote about in Tucker Patch.Β Β
Let me firstΒ begin by expressing how eternally grateful my family and I are for writing about us. Literally, the donations from citizensΒ have been flooding in.Β
I told my kids and my cousin how this isΒ such a bitter sweet incident. It's unfortunate thatΒ we lost our house to the fire but a blessing because of the amount of support we'veΒ been receiving from family, friends, churchesΒ and neighbors.Β
My family and I have been living in a two-bedroom hotel since the fire. With five of us here, I am sure you can imagine the discomfort we are experiencing.Β Not to mention we have no stability because my insurance won't extend our stay beyondΒ Dec. 19. Β
I wanted to see if it's possible to ask the communityΒ if they know of anyoneΒ or a real-estate agentΒ who can help us in finding a home. My cousin, my childrenΒ andΒ I have been searching since the week of the fire but had no luck in the process.Β
Again I want to say thank you because if it wasn't for your act of kindness, a lot of what we've received would be non-existent. I canΒ be reached via email at
luvpeacejoy10@gmail.comΒ orΒ 404-664-4641.
