Adult, Teen Injured In Head-On Crash In Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, GA — Two people were transported to an area hospital for injuries they suffered in a head-on collision Tuesday morning in Woodstock.

Police were notified of the accident on Trickum Road at Gunnin Road at 6:26 a.m. Jan. 15. A preliminary investigation indicates a passenger vehicle traveling northbound on Trickum Road tried to pass another car in a no-passing zone and collided head-on with an SUV, the city of Woodstock said.

The adult driver of the SUV and a 13-year-old male passenger reported injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Woodstock police issued several citations to the first driver, the agency said.
