Cherokee Film Summit Set For Jan. 24

The summit will bring business partners, film industry professionals, and local creatives together to create meaningful connections.

ACWORTH, GA — The Cherokee Office of Economic Development will team up with Yanmar Evo Center to host the first-ever Cherokee Film Summit later this month.

The summit, set for Thursday, Jan. 24 at the Yanmar Evo Center at 5889 Old Alabama Road in Acworth, will bring business partners, film industry professionals and local creatives together to create meaningful connections.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. for networking and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Along with networking opportunities, attendees will have the opportunity to attend break-out sessions, hear from speakers, and sit in on panels as organizers showcase successes and opportunities for the film industry in Cherokee County. All sessions will wrap at 10 p.m.
