- Truck & Tap, New Realm Brewing & Distilling and United Distributing are joining together to raise money for Camp Twin Lakes, a camp for children with serious illnesses, disabilities and other challenges. The campaign will run until the end of the month, all it takes is a purchase at Truck & Tap of any New Realm Brewing beer or cocktail, a portion of the sale will go towards the camp. - Have you or someone you know thought about performing with Woodstock Arts? There are two auditions being held tomorrow, one for the kids and one for everyone. At 3 p.m., children in grades 3 through 8 can head to the Woodstock Arts Theatre to audition for "The Spongebob Musical," and those 8 years old and older are welcome to try out for "A Christmas Carol" at 6 p.m. Please see important audition information and the sign-up forms at the links. - The R.T. Jones Memorial Library is celebrating 100 years, and there are two chances to join in the fun. For the kids, the 100th Year Birthday Bash starts at 10:30 a.m. this morning, the party will feature games, food and music. For the adults, the 100th Birthday Gala starts later this evening at 7 p.m., and there will be food, live music and a few words from some of our community leaders. - The weather looks like it'll be clear this morning, just perfect to take part in one of the free yoga sessions around town. First up at 10 a.m., Lindsey Rodgiguez and Natalie Skubic from Ember Hot Yoga are leading a beginner-friendly class, "Yoga in the Park," on the Event Green downtown. Children are welcome to attend. Next at 11 a.m., the "Yoga at the Library" class led by Michael Wakefield will be held at the Woodstock Library, located at 7735 Main St. This class is for adults and great for beginners. - The Cherokee County Animal Shelter is holding its adoption event today, but all pets are free! Available animals can be seen online here, a QR code on the shelter's front door will become active at a random time around 10 a.m. Please scan the QR code to enter the "virtual line," the shelter is at 1015 Univeter Road in Canton.
