• North Georgia Technical College announces President's List, Honor Roll students (accesswdun.com) — A Woodstock resident, Alexis Harrison, has earned a spot on North Georgia Technical College’s fall 2025 Honor Roll for EMS Professions, representing Cherokee County on the list. The college recognized full-time students across North Georgia and nearby states who achieved GPAs of 3.5 or higher for the Honor Roll and a perfect 4.0 for the President's List.
   

• Multiple GA Retailers Planning 2026 Closures: See List (patch.com) — Several big-name chains are planning 2026 store closures, and that could affect Woodstock’s Saks Off 5th outlet, which is one of three Georgia locations.
