You can purchase tasting tickets at the Woodstock Visitors Center now or at the event itself, cash is not accepted for tastings. 2. If you'd like to take part in a survey regarding the planned update of the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, you can do so on the official Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) website here. Our survey responses will help in the planning of ways to reduce carbon emissions, widen our options of transportation and "enhance our quality of life." You can also read about the plan and update and also ways to get involved locally. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and covers many topics, such as housing, education, crime, transportation technology and the environment. (Cherokee County via Facebook)
  3. This Saturday is the Touch-A-Truck event at Cherokee Veterans Park. The annual event features all sorts of official vehicles, including a firetruck, helicopter, police car and more. The whole family will love the games, music, food and activities, and there's a sensory-friendly time scheduled from 9:30 to 10 a.m. You can read more about the event at the link.
