Woodstock-Towne Lake Mom 'Is Loving & Compassionate' To All

WOODSTOCK-TOWNE LAKE, GA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Susan Camp who nominated Christian Smith of Woodstock-Towne Lake.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Christian is a great mother, friend and co-worker. She is loving and compassionate not only to her family but to her work family and her patients. She goes above and beyond with everything she does — if she can't give 110 percent, she doesn't do it.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Christian is a wonderful single mother of two boys, Kamrin 17 and Justus 8; she been employed by Atlanta North Dermatology for seven years. Christian has had three major surgeries in three years — a back surgery and two brain surgeries —all the while maintaining a positive attitude and great work ethic. We think she is very special!
