Happy Monday, people of Boise! Let's get you all caught up on what's happening locally to start today off on an informed note.

  1. Mountain Home resident Judy Lacks makes the trip down I-84 every two weeks for a special reason. She was recently honored for donating her 50th gallon of blood, five days after her 80th birthday. KTVB-TV's Tristan Lewis spoke with Lacks regarding her milestone. (KTVB)
  2. Idaho high school students are receiving the chance to drive a big rig through your town under traffic conditions and in a blinding storm-using a simulator. IdahoEdNews reporter Kyle Pfannenstiel joins some high school students and Idaho's governor as they have a chance for a possible new career-the students, not the governor. (idahoednews)
  3. The Idaho wolf population is holding steady at approximately 1,500 according to the Idaho Fish and Game Commission. In a story filed by the Associated Press and carried by KIVI-TV, experts state the count was based in part of trail cameras. (KIVITV)
  4. In 1956, Marilyn Monroe filmed "Bus Stop" using locations in and around Sun Valley. One of those used, the North Fork Store, was saved from demolition and is now a guest home on a property in Sun Valley. LITE-FM's Mateo takes a look at the iconic store. (liteonline)
  5. Be aware, scammers are out there posing as Idaho Power. CBS2 news staff report the crooks are stating residents are behind on a bill and asking for credit card numbers to bring the bill up to date. (idahonews)
