- A 92-year-old Caldwell man is dead after a shooting involving Caldwell police. KIVI-TV has the Associated Press story of the incident that took place early Tuesday. Reports state the man, sitting in a pickup, raised a firearm towards responding staff and was shot by the two officers. (KIVI)
- Students returning to school after the Thanksgiving break in the West Ada School District will be able to do so without masks after a decision Monday evening by trustees. IdahoEdNews reporter Kyle Pfannenstiel reports on the unanimous decision to lift the mask mandate. (idahoednews)
- The decision on a conditional use permit to build a new home for Interfaith Sanctuary has been placed on hold until at least Dec. 6. BoiseDev reporter Margaret Carmel writes after four hours of testimony, the Boise Planning & Zoning Commission decided to hold off any decision until additional public testimony could be heard on the proposed State Street location. - If you were planning on catching some television this upcoming Sunday, you may want to tune in to the Investigation Discovery channel as a 2011 Meridian murder is highlighted. LITE-FM and Mateo announce the show will discuss the murder in a Walgreen's parking lot involving a cheating spouse. (liteonline)

The Egg McMuffin was created by California franchisee Herb Peterson in 1971, which compared the sandwich to being eggs benedict on the go. McDonald’s brought the sandwich nationwide in 1975 and it eventually became a cornerstone of its menu.
