Here are the top stories today in Boise:
- If you see air tankers flying in the skies above Boise, fire season has not started-yet. CBS2's Mickaela Elich reports aerial training for the Bureau of Land Management and Boise National Forest will be taking place, lasting approximately 45 days. The planes carry a portable 3,000-gallon fire retardant delivery system and will be making practice runs on predetermined spots during the training. (idahonews)
- The motorcycles racing at Owyhee Motorcycle Club over the weekend looked a bit different to fans. Racers took to the course on motorcycles as old as 50 years as the club celebrated their history with vintage races. KIVI-TV's Steve Dent took in some of the action and filed a report. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
- As the new week begins, Boise Patch has five new homes just hitting the Boise market. If you are searching for that new house, this should be the place to start your search. (Boise Patch)
- If you need a new way to pay for that new home we found for you, the Idaho Capital Sun's Audrey Dutton reports a job fair, with openings in recreation, hospitality and sales, takes place Wednesday at Taft Elementary Gymnasium. (idahocapitalsun)
- We are sure many of our followers are unaware, but the Boise Airport has a chapel. BoiseDev's Madison Hardy speaks with Paul Okeny, chaplain at the airport on the 15-year old service ready to welcome travelers in need. (boisedev)
