  1. Boise Patch and Zoo Boise want you in the Halloween spirit. This year, after a two-year hiatus, Boo at the Zoo will occur for two days, Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30. This is a family-friendly event with candy, costume contests for all ages, vendors, face painting and the opportunity to watch the zoo animals enjoy their Halloween treats. (Boise Patch)
  2. The unemployment rate for Idaho saw a slight rise in September. CBS2 news staff report the rate rose to 2.8%, up from August's 2.7% with the total number of unemployed in the state standing at 26,921. (Idaho News)
  3. Early voting for the Nov. 8 election begins Monday in Ada County. KIVI-TV's Nicole Camarda reports polling places will be open at multiple locations starting at 8 a.m. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
  4. The Boise Police have released video footage of the Boise Towne Square shooting that occurred just over one year ago. KTVB-TV staff show the footage along with an explanation from police officials explaining what took place. (KTVB.com)
  5. Asiago's, an Italian restaurant in Boise downtown for the past 25 years, is closing. BoiseDev reporter Autum Robertson writes the owners will be opening a new concept restaurant called Stardust. (boisedev)
