- Ada County is ready to count your ballot next Tuesday. KIVI-TV's Nicole Camarda was present as county election officials completed a test run of ballots to make sure Tuesday evening goes on without a problem. Over 400 predetermined test ballots were run through the system and all results came back exact and as expected. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
- Snow is possible for your Friday commute, but the Ada County Highway District told CBS2 news staff the department is ready. With 137 staff and 44 plows, streets should be cleared quickly as the white stuff starts falling in the capital city. (Idaho News)
- A victim of violence based on being transgender spoke out to Boise Weekly' s Tracy Bringhurst. The victim, a city librarian, recalled the event of being physically attacked and threatened with stabbing. The same suspect in the incident has now been arrested on charges attached with a second incident involving attempting to run over couple with a vehicle. (boiseweekly)
- If you are heading up to McCall for the weekend and wish to catch up on the news in the small town, a new owner of the local newspaper will greet you. BoiseDev reporter Autum Robertson reports the Star-News, the local McCall newspaper, is under new ownership. New Jersey-based CherryRoad Media bought the Star-News and now owns 79 newspapers across 14 states. (boisedev)
- The Ada County Coroner has identified the victim of a house fire Oct. 27. KTVB-TV staff report David Taylor, 63, was pronounced dead shortly after Boise Police officers located him in a house fire on N. Aborcrest Court. (ktvb)
