- Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow Daybell have yet to have their day in court but the cost to Idaho taxpayers to date is staggering. EastIdahoNews reporter Nate Eaton writes the cost so far is $3.6 million and estimates are heading towards the $5 million mark by court time. (eastidahonews)
- For just the third time in school history, the Boise State men's basketball will be part of March Madness. KIVI-TV's Steve Dent was present along with the team and fans as the Broncos received word they are heading to Sacramento for play in the West Regional of the NCAA tournament. The Broncos come into the tournament as the tenth seed while their opponents, Northwestern, is seeded seventh. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
- Idaho may not be California but it still occurs. KTVB-TV staff report a magnitude 3.9 earthquake hit Donnelly on Saturday with people in Cascade, McCall and Council reporting feeling the earth rumble. (ktvb)
- Since the state cannot obtain the necessary chemicals to go through with an execution, a death row inmate's scheduled execution has been stayed. The IdahoCapitalSun's Ruth Brown reports U.S. Idaho District Judge B. Lynn Winmill granted a stay of execution for Gerald Pizzuto Jr. Pizzuto was scheduled to die March 23 and this marks the second time it has been called off as the state cancelled in November due to the correct drugs not being available.
