- The competency of a Fruitland woman accused of some involvement in missing Michael Vaughn remains on hold after a Friday hearing. KIVI-TV's Karen Lehr reports no update was received by the court or Sarah Wondra's attorney from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare since Wondra was ordered there in early December after a mental health evaluation found her unfit to continue with court proceedings. - The Boise North End has a scrooge and police would like to speak with him. KTVB-TV staff report at least five cars have been vandalized around 13th Street and Resseguie Street near 24th and Bannock streets and 24th and Main streets. Law enforcement have a description of both the man and his vehicle and would like your assistance. (KTVB.com)
- The City of Boise and the union representing Boise Police personnel have reached a tentative agreement, but both sides agreed not to discuss it in public. BoiseDev editor Don Day writes the agreement would need to be approved by the full union membership and the Boise City Council. Negotiations with the Boise Fire Union broke down over the summer and entered mediation in the fall. (boisedev)
- Members from rival gangs met at the same gas station in Caldwell with the result being two victims of multiple stab wounds. CBS2 news staff report the incident took place Thursday evening at the Extra Mile Chevron gas station on Freeport Street. A confrontation took place between members of the "Norteno" and "Sureno" gangs. (idahonews)
