  1. President Joe Biden will visit the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise on Monday as part of his first stop in the West. KBOI-TV and others received a press release from the White House announcing the stop in Boise. (idahonews)
  2. Following the news of the death of West Ada high school teacher and coach Mike McCrady, the West Ada School District reversed a previous decision on masks for students. Blake Jones, writing for IdahoEdNews, was present at a board meeting on Sept. 8 as the board announced masks will be mandated beginning Friday, Sept. 10. Families previously could opt out of mask wearing. (IdahoEdNews)
  3. Boise Mayor Lauren McLean is blaming "staff error" on her name appearing on a resolution backing the teaching of critical race theory in K-12 education. BoiseDev editor Don Day produces nearly 200 emails from the city explaining the situation. (BoiseDev)
  4. If you attended the Western Idaho Fair this year, you were not alone. KTVB staff report the fair reached record attendance as more than 273,000 people walked through the gates. (KTVB)
  5. Courtney with KLIX-AM radio announced Imagine Dragons has Boise slated for a March 2, 2022 stop on the band's tour schedule. The band will perform at ExtraMile Arena with doors opening at 6 p.m. (News Radio 1310 KLIX)
