Rise and shine, Boise! Let's get you started this Tuesday with everything you need to know going on in Boise today.

As we celebrate the final day of November, the Boise Daily is here for you. The City of Boise is confirming no plans to build a park, but refuses to release plans a law firm wrote up for the controversial Murgoitio site. We include a story on a local high school teen missing since 1994, a story filled with many questions and few answers. Idaho's current attorney general wants to continue in his job, and a new food locator for those in need is now available. Finally, we offer some places for parents to grab those special keepsake photos of the kids and Christmas.

  1. The City of Boise is refusing to release plans for the Murgoitio park site, but has said no plans are in the future to develop a park on the 160-acre site. BoiseDev reporter Margaret Carmel reports the city paid a law firm just under $10,000 for a report on how the parcel could be developed. (boisedev.com)
  2. In 1994, a Bishop Kelly student walked out of her house saying she needed to get away and would be back in a year. Krystyn Rae Dunlap-Bosse was never seen again. KTVB-TV has a story written by Alexandra Duggan of the Idaho Press chronicling Dunlap-Bosse's difficult life prior to disappearing, including a relationship with an alleged abusive, married boyfriend 10 years her senior, reportedly the last person to see Dunlap-Bosse. (ktvb)
  3. IdahoEdNews and Kevin Richert writes Idaho's current attorney general wants to keep his job. Lawrence Wasden announced he will seek a sixth term, adding his name to an already crowded Republican primary. (idahoednews)
  4. If you are one of the many Boise residents searching for food assistance, a new service by the Idaho Foodbank can help. By simply entering a location on a phone, a locator will supply nearby services such as food pantries, mobile pantries, free meal sites, and emergency shelters, according to staff of CBS-TV. (idahonews)
  5. In the days prior to Amazon, every department store had a Santa — a place for children to express their wishes while parents grabbed a snapshot or two. Now, LITE-FM's Michelle Heart provides four places in Boise a parent can still snap a free picture of the kids on Santa's lap. (liteonline)
