1. A coffee vendor has filed a tort claim against Boise State University, requesting $10 million in damages. Big City Coffee, according the Idaho Press, filed the claim after the university and the coffee shop ended their contract together after students protested the owner.

2. Boiseans receiving the COVID-19 vaccine may receive "COVID arm" according to a report by Fox13-TV. The red, splotchy arm is a reaction to the vaccine and nothing out of the ordinary. Unlike other reactions to vaccines, this one waits five to seven days before appearing.

3. A wayward Boise cat is home after a five year jaunt around town. The Idaho Humane Society picked up the feline and contacted the owner after discovering the cat still had a identification collar. A little worse for wear, kitty is back home with the owner according to the Idaho Press.

4. The existing jail in Ada County was built in 1977. Now, Ada County Commissioners have taken the first step in jail expansion, voting to start a construction fund. However, according to BoiseDev, not all the commissioners are on board with the idea.

5. BoiseDev also brings a story of the Idaho Supreme Court's ruling for the City of Boise on two urban renewal districts. A suit was filed by the Idaho Freedom Foundation arguing the districts violated state law preventing local governments from incurring debt.
