Today's Boise Briefing provides you the reason the skies above the back yard may be a little louder than normal. 1. The skies above Boise will be a bit louder as the Idaho Air National Guard is hosting six AV-8B Harrier aircraft from Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, N.C. as reported by Idaho News. The training will take place during both the day and night.

2. If you were a member of the Idaho Central Credit Union in 2019 and were impacted by two instances of a data breach, a settlement has been proposed according to BoiseDev. Included in the story is the method to join an existing lawsuit.

3. Also from BoiseDev, a local startup has been awarded $500,000 in seed money to grow a company assisting coffee farmers to deilver beans directly to consumers without the middle men. Residents of Boise may remember Iron Mule from the company's mule on the Boise hiking trails delivering coffee to thirsty hikers.

4. Students from Boise are standing up in the political process as a group stood outside the Statehouse to protest proposed restrictions on racism, sexism in Idaho school curricula as reported by IdEdNews.

5. The pandemic has been rough on most of us, but the answer may be an extended happy hour at the Neurolux Lounge according to the Boise Weekly. The drinks go down in price now between the hours of 12-7 p.m.
