Here is the roundup of news from across Boise you need to know and will be discussed among your friends and coworkers.

Welcome to today's Boise Briefing and the stories you should take gander at before heading out to enjoy the great Boise weekend. Boise is planning on a farm and a park, all in one using the old Spaulding Ranch. You may need to move your car more than six inches to avoid that ticket and new footage has arrived in the Lori Vallow case. Lawmakers are pusing for full-day kindergarten for all while multiple states are following Idaho with a new transgender athlete law currently held up in court.
1. The City of Boise will soon have a new park-and a working farm-all in one. Plans call for the 20-acre Spaulding Ranch off Cole Road near Capital High School to be developed into a one-of-a-kind park per KIVI-TV. The city has plans for a wildflower field, small animal farm, commercial kitchen and functional farm. 100 fruit tress were planted last month in the first phase for the project.
2. Currently, citizens of Boise can leave cars parked in one spot for three days. To get around a ticket, the vehicle needs to simply move a few feet and the clock resets on the three day timeline. Now, the city is looking to close the loophole according to a report by BoiseDev. New language would require the vehicle to be moved to another block for a period of time equal or longer than 72 hours.
