- Flights go in and out of the Boise Airport daily with little fanfare with the exception of excited families. This was not the case on Tuesday as 40 dogs displaced by Hurricane Ida arrived in Boise, ready for new adoptive homes. CBS2's Ariana Pyper was on hand to greet the capital city's newest residents. - As most of us prepare to celebrate Christmas with family, the Vaughn family of Fruitland will mark this holiday as the first one without their 5-year-old son, Michael. KTVB-TV staff provide an update on the search for the child missing since July 27, including a new search area and the follow up of 738 leads. (KTVB)
- The Boise State University football team is headed for a 24th straight bowl game. Even with the fact the Broncos are playing post season, some fans are concerned over the bowl's sponsor, Barstool Sports. Boise State Public Radio's Troy Oppie explains the controversy behind the website sponsor, a site featuring sports news along with "Barstool Local Smokeshow Of The Day." (Boise State Public Radio)
- BoiseDev senior reporter Margaret Carmel writes the state has ended its partnership with a Meridian company after seven years of what the state calls fraudulent claims, incomplete paperwork and other improper billing for reimbursement from taxpayer funding. The move away from Inclusions, Inc. left 138 people using Medicaid waivers to pay for supportive services like in-home care, supervised employment programs, mental health counseling and specialized nursing and having to go elsewhere for their services.
