Boise Farmers Market Offers Drive-Thru
Beginning March 30, Boise consumers can receive fresh veggies and baked goods from their own vehicle direct from local vendors.

BOISE, ID — Even with restrictions in place and the pandemic continuing, Boise consumers can still receive fresh vegetables and pastries from their favorite vendors as the Boise Farmers Market has introduced a drive-thru service.

Boiseans will be able to shop on the market's online store Tuesdays and Wednesdays and choose a pickup time. On the following Saturday, a drive to 1500 Shoreline Drive is made and the items are waiting and ready to be handed over.

The online market opens Tuesday, March 30 with the first pickup scheduled for April 3.
The service is a great alternative, but will not be able to replace hearing the live music, smelling the fresh pastries and speaking with local farmers on how to use a rutabaga in a meal. Here is hoping we all can enjoy a live market soon.
