- Here is the news nobody wishes to hear. CBS2 news staff report gas prices in Boise rose by 10 cents per gallon last week. The average price to fill your tank stands at $3.50 per gallon in the capital city while the Idaho average stands at $3.42 per gallon. (Idaho News)
- After a complaint was filed with the state from within their own party, the Ada County Republicans have amended a series of finance reports. BoiseDev senior reporter Margaret Carmel reports Phil Reynolds, a conservative activist, filed a complaint with the Idaho Secretary of State regarding donated office space not declared on the group's finance reports. - On Monday morning, the final call for service came for Fire Station 5 after 70 years of service. KTVB-TV staff report the brick building will be demolished to make way for a new station scheduled to be completed in 2024. Some of the original brick and hardwood floor from the old firehouse will be repurposed in the new facility. (ktvb)

- Concerned that students in Oregon and Washington are jumping the border to vote in Idaho elections, a Caldwell lawmaker has introduced a bill prohibiting the use of student IDs as an allowable form of ID for voting in elections. The IdahoCapitalSun's Clark Corbin reports the same bill would also remove a voter from being able to sign an affidavit to prove their identity. Voting in multiple states is illegal by federal law.
