- Babies are born every day in Boise, most in our local hospitals with a few birthed at home. KTVB-TV staff carry the story of one baby who recently made their appearance while the mother was incarcerated in the Ada County jail. Addalynn arrived a little too quickly as jail staff were preparing mother Shawnte McGlothen to make a trip to the hospital. (KTVB.com)
- After three years of public input and meetings, the city is presenting a new zoning code for approval. Boise Patch announces a final round of hearings on the new code is available on the city's YouTube channel. (Boise Patch)
- Boise residents have the chance to see and hear an Idaho piano from 1878. FromBoise's Marissa tells the story of the Cartee Weber Grand Piano, newly restored and ready for a concert on Friday, March 3. The Weber was considered the top piano of the day and has been under restoration since 2014. (fromboise)
- A Caldwell man has been arrested and charged with numerous felonies after a shooting and a hit-and-run incident. CBS2 news staff report 25-year-old Brian Garcia was arrested after law enforcement responded to an incident and found a male with a serious gunshot wound and a second individual with severe injuries. - Minors will not be allowed to attend drag, burlesque and erotic dancing shows if the Idaho House gets its way. The IdahoCapitalSun's Clark Corbin reports under the bill, live shows featuring "sexual conduct" is prohibited from city, county or state parks, or city, county or state-owned venues or performing arts centers.
