Boise Man Sits In Baker County Jail
Andrew Peterman was arrested Tuesday in Baker City after, according to the report, running over a gas pump and assaulting a police officer.

BAKER, OR —A Boise man is incarcerated just across the Idaho/Oregon border as a result of an incident at a Baker gas station.

Andrew Peterman, 36-years-old, was arrested after Baker City Police received reports a vehicle drove over a fuel pump at the Jackson's Food Mart located on Campbell Street just off Interstate 84. Upon arrival, local police found Peterman driving a Honda SUV and a fuel pump lying on the ground.

Baker City Police detained Peterman before transporting him to a local hospital. While at the hospital, Peterman punched both a security guard and a Baker City officer. Both were treated for minor injuries.
Due to the entire incident, Peterman has been charged with assaulting a public safety officer, assault in the fourth degree, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

Residents of a Boise neighborhood may recall Peterman. In late 2018, Peterman was arrested due to an incident on North Jullion way. Boise Police arrested Peterman after he fired multiple shots inside a home in the neigborhood. He was subsequently charged with felony aggravated assault.
In the Boise case, Peterman was found guilty of the charge and released to supervision on April 1, just five days prior to the incident in Baker.
