Happy Friday, Boise! Here's everything you need to know about what's happening today.

Happy Friday from the Boise Daily. A man is heading back to Boise after an arrest in Oregon for a murder from December, 2020. In addition, a reported campus preacher was recently charged by Boise Police after spending a few days at Boise State University. A Boise candy family institution has new owners while children experienced the thrill of flying. Finally, most of us have experienced a pumpkin latte, but what about a pumpkin hard seltzer?

  1. Staff of KTVB-TV report a man wanted to for a murder in late 2020 has now been found and arrested in Columbia County, Oregon. Lance Garver, 51, is sitting in jail awaiting extradition to Idaho. (KTVB.com)
  2. Another arrest makes the news as Moscow resident Keith Darrell was arrested on the campus of Boise State University according to Paige Wirta of the The Arbiter. Darrell, who has the Instagram account @campuspreacher, was taken away and charged with misdemeanor resisting or obstructing officers. (Boise State University The Arbiter Online)
  3. 73 years is a long time for anything, but for one Boise business, the time came to finally move on. BoiseDev reporter Anna Daly Gamboa informs Lee's Candies, a fixture in Vista Village, has new owners. Don't worry, few things are scheduled to change. (boisedev.com)
  4. Local youth were the recipients of balloon rides as the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic kicked off Wednesday. In addition to excited kids, Sarah Jacobsen and CBS2-TV were also in the park in the early hours. (Idaho News)
