- The mother of a man shot by Boise Police officers during a mental health crisis last fall filed a tort claim for half a million dollars according to BoiseDev senior reporter Margaret Carmel. The claim listed Officers Matt Jacobs and Officer Clifton Snodderly as “persons involved,” alongside BPD, the City of Boise and Ada County Dispatch. (boisedev.com)

- In a story written by the Associated Press and carried by KIVI-TV, Idaho Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin asked legislative budget writers Wednesday for $29,000 to cover legal fees incurred after she lost a public records lawsuit. (kivitv)
- Idaho State Police were involved in a local chase with speeds reaching close to 120 mph as reported by KBOI-AM. A California man, wanted as a fugitive, was finally stopped and charged with charged with two felonies, including possession of a controlled substance and eluding an officer. - CBS2 news staff report a fisherman from Weiser, Idaho is presumed drowned after he went missing from the Hells Canyon Area. Police report a pickup belonging to 85-year-old Alberto Sillonis was found at the Hells Canyon Visitor Center along with his two fishing poles, one of which was still in the water. (idahonews)
