Boise Police Asking For Help In Finding Shooter

The Boise Police Department is requesting assistance in finding a suspect accused of shooting a woman.

BOISE, ID. — Boise Police Officers are searching for a man wanted on a warrant for Felony Aggravated Battery. Officers ask that if you see the suspect, Daniel Bondar, do not approach him. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. If you see him please call Officer Thueson at 208-570-6418 or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS (2677).

Suspect: Daniel Bondar, 31
Suspect Description: White male, short brown hair, green eyes, 6’4”, approximately 240 lbs., with a sleeve of tattoos on one of his arms and one of his legs. He also has BONDAR tattooed vertically on one forearm.

He was last seen with scruffy facial hair, wearing a black zip up hooded sweatshirt or jacket and black track pants with two stripes going down the pant legs.


What Happened: Bondar is wanted after an incident in the area of N. Maple Grove Rd. and W. Ustick Rd. on Wednesday shortly before 7:30 am. Evidence indicates he shot a woman known to him. Bondar dropped the victim off at a local hospital and fled. The victim is expected to recover. Officers have been actively looking for Bondar since learning his identity and have followed up on multiple leads.
