- The City of Boise is launching an investigation into the actions of a former police officer using an outside law firm. CBS2 news staff were on hand as Mayor Lauren McLean was joined by members of the Boise City Council and Boise Police Chief Ron Winegar at a press conference regarding retired Boise Police Capt. Matt Bryngelson Wednesday morning. Announced was an investigation into Bryngelson's time with the department by law firm Steptoe and Johnson. After his retirement, Bryngelson participated in a white nationalist conference under a pseudonym and has contributed in writing to white supremacist propaganda outlets. (idahonews)
- The Grinch may be receiving a bad rap. KIVI-TV's Nicole Camarda speaks with Boise's Grinch who is not stealing toys but raising money to give to those in need. Every family needs a Grinch photo. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
- The Boise City Council has voted to adopt a new districting map for city elections, but not everyone is pleased. BoiseDev reporter Margaret Carmel writes those living in West Boise feel the new districts carve up their section of town. The 3-2 vote also creates districts that split up 11 neighborhood associations. (boisedev)
- For some important news now, Nutty Buddies will still be available for sale unless you are in the military. KTVB-TV's Erin Jones and Mauricio Chamberlin take on the rumor Little Debbie snacks are going out of business. While it is true airmen and airwomen at Mountain Home Air Force Base and other military installations are not able to purchase the snacks on base, Little Debbie is alive and well at retail markets. - Beginning Dec. 1, the Idaho State Museum in Boise has an array of holiday events. The Idaho Capital Sun's Christina Lords writes of the Winter Wonder Village events with vendors, hot chocolate, illuminated Pioneer Village homes and Santa. (idahocapitalsun)
