Welcome to the Saturday edition of the Boise Daily. The city is ready to unveil work completed on redistricting and is looking for citizen input. Fires have been a part of Idaho forever and now our local museum is highlighting this act of nature. Two stories involving our university's athletics program today including big plans for the future and a gymnastics team achieving a record score. Finally, we learn giving speeches does not constitute community service hours.

Here are the top stories today in Boise:
- The City of Boise is ready to show the public the first draft for city council redistricting. City staff will show this first plan on April 12 during the scheduled council meeting and the public is invited to provide input. (Boise Patch)
- Beginning Saturday, the Idaho State Museum opens a new exhibit highlighting the history of wildfires in the state. KTVB-TV staff received a sneak peek at the exhibit and provides the schedule for the museum. (KTVB.com)
- Boise State University has some big plans for athletics. KIVI-TV's Meredith Spelbring reports on the school's announcement of expansion. Plans for the Athletics Master Village include a new varsity center, renovations to Albertson's Stadium, upgrades to the Arguinchona Basketball Complex, renovations to ExtraMile Arena, an Olympic Sports Arena, an indoor tennis complex, a future soccer complex, changes to Dona Larson Park and a relocation of beach volleyball. - Keeping with Boise State University sports news, The Aribiter's Nate Lunak highlights the school's gymnastics team recently broke a school record for highest team score while competing at the regional championships. The Broncos finished fourth in the second session. (arbiteronline)
- If you are convicted of a crime and sentenced to community service, we now understand stumping for yourself on the campaign trail fails to meet the requirements of service. The Idaho Capital Sun's Ruth Brown writes Independent gubernatorial candidate Ammon Bundy was sentenced to 10 days in jail for failure to complete 40 hours of community service. During the hearing, Bundy argued his campaigning across the state should count towards the hours. Ada County Magistrate Judge Annie McDevitt disagreed. (idahocapitalsun)

- Boise State University is sponsoring Bronco Day, a chance for people interested in becoming students can meet current students and professors, explore labs and classrooms, and tour student housing and dining options. (10 a.m.)
- Boise's JUMP will hold a Film Maker Meetup on Saturday. (10 a.m.)
- The Spongebob Musical win continue a three-day run in Boise with a performance on Saturday. (1 p.m.)
- Guilty Pleasure, Boise's most joy-filled, old-school R&B, soul, shameless disco dance band, featuring the fabulous Mary Houston will take the stage at the Sandbar on Saturday. (5 p.m.)
