- Growing up in a large family in the Treasure Valley is not that uncommon, but a Meridian woman has discovered she has 67 siblings, and the list continues to grow. KTVB-TV's Brenda Rodriguez speaks with Nichole Mclendon and her recent discovery of finding a growing number of siblings due to being donor conceived. Mclendon still has some work to do as the agency estimates there are about 3,000 siblings related to her. (KTVB)
- After our horrible weekend of rain and wind, the pleasant weather has returned and makes this a great time to get out and take a gander at five new homes on the market, courtesy of Boise Patch. - Although kids have no interest in hearing this next story, school reopens in August and a Boise bench school will offer a new after-school community center. BoiseDev reporter Anna Daly reports Hillcrest Elementary will host 30 to 40 students after school at Hillcrest Kid City. The program will be a free program and offer homework assistance and snacks courtesy of the Boise Parks and Recreation Department. (BoiseDev)
- The local Dairy Queen restaurants are hoping your summer plans include gummy worms, salted caramel pieces, cotton candy, Girl Scout cookies, Drumsticks, and cherry chunks. Taste of Home's Amrita Thakkar introduces the summer menu of Dairy Queen's Blizzards, available for a limited time only. Six Blizzards are out there and waiting for you. (tasteofhome)
