- A Boise business was the victim of an armed robbery early Wednesday morning. KTVB-TV staff report Boise Police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the man who entered the business on West Fairview Avenue and demanded money around 5 a.m. A grainy black and white photo from the incident is included in the story. - The Boise Daily has horrific news coming from Meridian. KIVI staff report a 16-year-old Meridian High School student died Wednesday morning after being struck by a GMC pickup truck at the intersection of Pine and Ten Mile. Meridian police said the student was crossing to the west side of Ten Mile, when a driver traveling north struck the student. He was pronounced dead at the scene. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
- As the election approaches, most voters know more than they want about the popular races. However, as you work your way down the ballot, there is typically candidates for judicial positions. Boise State Public Radio reporter James Dawson provides information on where voters can find information on the judges on your ballot before you cast your vote. (Boise State Public Radio)
- Staying with the subject of elections, over $2 million has been spent since the May 17 primary by political action committees. The Idaho Capital Sun's Kelcie Mosely-Morris reports while the majority of the cash is spent on candidates, some is being spent on ballot questions. As is common, most of the money comes from groups outside Idaho. (idahocapitalsun)
- One way to recover from the election blues is to take in a Christmas movie. LITE-FM's Michelle Heart announces two Boise area theaters announced $5 holiday movies are upcoming.
