A BPD Special Operation Unit was called in to assist because of the suspect’s criminal history and his possible access to weapons. After continued attempts to get the suspect to surrender, specially trained officers deployed CS gas into the residence and the suspect safely exited the house at 1:25 p.m. He was cleared by medics on scene and taken to the Ada County Jail to be booked on the listed charge.
Eyton is currently on supervision for possession of a controlled substance stemming from an Ada County case in December, 2019. He is not scheduled to be released from probation on this case until 2024.
