Welcome to the Wednesday edition of the Boise Daily. We open today's newsletter with good news for parents with bored children this early in the summer. A popular Boise eatery is being forced out of the downtown area due to rising rental rates, and Boise Hawks fans braved our terrible weekend weather to watch a win. Idaho Public Television has June specials coming, and grab some attention for your event or group using the free Boise Patch.

Here are the top stories in Boise today:
- The end of the school year brings great anticipation of summer fun, but it usually does not take long for boredom to set in. LITE-FM's Michelle Heart reports three Boise movie theaters have come to the rescue of parents with 12 weeks of movies at a cost of only $2 each. The family-friendly movies will play every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer months. (LiteOnline.com)
- The rising rates for rentals in Boise is not limited to just those looking for a house or apartment. KTVB-TV's Katija Stjepovic writes Meraki, the popular downtown Greek restaurant, is moving due to rising rent after serving patrons for five and a half years. A new lease presented to the owners included a 30 percent increase. (KTVB.com)
- Fans attending the Memorial Day game for the Boise Hawks dressed looking more like late season duck hunting than baseball. CBS2 news staff were on hand for the Hawks' 8-5 win over the Idaho Falls Chukars in less than typical baseball weather. (idahonews)
- Mark your calendars for two June dates as Idaho Public Television has specials coming on both Idaho wildflowers and the mental health of children. The Idaho Capital Sun's April Neale reminds viewers the Idaho Outdoor episode of "Wildflowers" airs both on June 16 and 17. On June 28, IPT will carry “Raising Resilient Kids: Mental Health Matters.” (idahocapitalsun)
