Welcome to the Saturday edition of the Boise Daily. Garfield Elementary students were kept from recess for a while due to Boise Police searching for a suspect. It appears a Boise woman may miss her upcoming jury trial, and a mall and homes made from shipping containers has been approved for Garden City. A local media outlet is asking which "old band" you would like to see at the Boise Music Festival, and the homeless demonstration tents in downtown are coming down.

- A man running from a traffic stop while driving a stolen vehicle forced students at Garfield Elementary to remain inside the building while a search was conducted in the neighborhood. KTVB-TV news staff report Alberto Canchola of Gooding was arrested after he entered a home and threw the homeowner to the floor. (KTVB.com)
- A Boise woman is facing an upcoming jury trial after her arrest for selling 28 grams of methamphetamine to an undercover informant in Blaine County. The Idaho Mountain Express's Emily Jones writes Jessica Anne Vazquez, 39, is scheduled for a jury trial on May 17 on the charges. However, Vasquez posted a $20,000 bond on Feb. 3 and contact with her has been lost. (Idaho Mountain Express and Guide)
- A company's idea to create a mall and homes from shipping containers can go forward after a judge overturned Garden City's denial of the project. BoiseDev senior reporter Margaret Carmel reports Wee Boise took the city's denial of their project to court. Fourth District Court Judge Jonathan Medema ruled the city's denial “was not supported by substantial evidence in the record.” (boisedev.com)

- The tents are coming down in Boise. CBS2 news staff report numerous tents at the ongoing homeless demonstration near the Idaho Statehouse are being taken down after the Central District Health Department declared the area a public safety hazard and contracted with a local hazardous materials company to remove numerous items on the scene.
