- Boise State football is happy a game is divided into two halves. CBS2 reporter Luke Randle reports the Broncos, down 0-13 at the half, scored 35 points in the second half to grab a win over San Diego State. The victory comes as the team welcomed a new quarterback and new offensive coordinator. (idahonews)
- If the cash is just not making it to the end of the month and you are having problems with housing, Boise Patch and officials with Ada County are here. Many local residents have the ability to qualify for emergency rental assistance, completely unaware of the programs that exist and how to apply. The article explains the programs and qualifications. - While the majority of Boise residents are fast asleep after a night out downtown, Roy Olvera and Don Porter are just starting their shift. The Boise Weekly's Jeanne Huff interviews the two workers tasked to make sure your walk downtown in the morning will find clean sidewalks and no leftover puke stains. (boiseweekly)
- Should a downtown street be one-way or two-way traffic? BoiseDev editor Don Day reports a years-long disagreement over 5th St. and 6th St. is once again dividing different government agencies. The disagreement goes all the back to 2017 with a former governor and different mayor. (boisedev)
- The State of Idaho held an auction and almost nobody showed up. The Idaho Capital Sun's Clark Corbin reports when the state attempted to auction off an island in the town of McCall, only one of the five parcels sold. Cougar Island is described by the state as underperforming and the decision was made to auction off the land. Jim Laski, a Bellevue attorney, paid $2,025,000 for the 2.5 acre that did sell.
