- If you have a Mickey Mantle preserved in glass or a Patrick Mahomes rookie card in a book, here is an idea to add to your sports card collection. Boise State University The Arbiter's Marlei Soderquist reports the local university has entered into a partnership with Jacksons that will create limited edition trading cards featuring every Boise State Athletics team and every Boise State student-athlete to be depicted on a card. - A Boise man is in custody after law enforcement found 400 grams of meth and over 500 fentanyl pills in his vehicle. KTVB-TV staff report James J. Mackley was stopped on Interstate 84. After admitting he was under the influence of a narcotic medication driving, a K9 drug dog alerted on the vehicle. Mackley is now being held on a $750,000 bond in the Ada County Jail. (KTVB.com)
- A historic bar in downtown Boise is soon to reopen with added space. BoiseDev editor Don Day writes The Bouquet, closed since 2016, will soon see the light of day along with the three stories upstairs, closed off since the 1960s. And yes, the famous Brunswick bar will again be featured although it has been moved from its original spot. Now called The Avery, the downtown location will feature a bar, restaurant and hotel. - Claiming the bill "protects the children from perverts," the Idaho House passed a bill banning public drag shows and other performances deemed sexually explicit, according to Boise State Public Radio's James Dawson. Opponents say language in the bill is too broad and if becomes Idaho law, courts will find it unconstitutional. (Boise State Public Radio)
- If you are unable to visit the Idaho State Museum to visit the exhibit ‘Trailblazing Women of Idaho,’ visitors can now see the exhibit virtually. KIVI-TV's Christinna Bautista writes the virtual tour has nearly 500 virtual interactions. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
