- Concerns over traffic has delayed a vote on a proposal to build on vacant land near Vista Avenue. BoiseDev senior reporter Margaret Carmel writes the Boise City Council has decided to wait until Jan. 10 before deciding on the fate of 358 units on 18 acres of the so-called Simunich site on Victory Road, just east of Vista along the New York Canal. - Bronco football fans need to purchase those airline tickets for Frisco, Texas as Boise State University has accepted an invitation to play in the Frisco Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 17 per KTVB-TV's Jay Tust. The Broncos will play North Texas at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, with the game kicking off at 7:15 p.m. MT. (KTVB)

CBS2 news staff report local Boise gas prices fell almost 20 cents per gallon last week with the average now standing at $3.94 per gallon.
