- A Boise man shot by Boise Police has died from his injuries. In a story by the Associated Press and carried by U.S. News & World Report, officials are not releasing the man's name until next of kin are notified. Police first interacted with the man after receiving reports of him threatening suicide by jumping off an overpass. (U.S. News & World Report)
- Longfellow Elementary School in Boise played host to Idaho governor candidate Ammon Bundy this past Halloween-in a way. A creative father and his children re-enacted Bundy's famous arrest from the state capital for his refusal to leave ending up in his being wheeled out of the state building in a chair. - The Payette County Sheriff's Office has told IdahoEdNewsreporter Devin Bodkin the investigation into alleged hazing at Fruitland High School is complete. The incident involving the football team includes allegations of using an electric dog collar on a student. (idahoednews)
- If you have an emergency in Canyon County, texting 911 is now available according to CBS2 news staff. Boise's neighbor joins 36 Idaho counties where emergency services can be contacted via text. (idahonews)
