2. That is enough for politics. With summer coming, Wendy's has announced a new item on the menu-the Strawberry Frosty. The Frosty was one of five original items introduced in 1969 when Dave Thomas opened his original outlet. Amrita Thakkar of Taste of Home broke the tasty news. (Taste of Home)

In Boise it’s technically illegal to ride a merry-go-round on Sunday. Luckily, it’s an old law that isn’t usually enforced. Idaho law forbids a citizen to give another citizen a box of candy that weighs more than 50 pounds.

- Fairmont Junior High School is out early Tuesday. Students pour out the doors at 1:15 p.m.
- Riverglen Junior High School is also out at 1:15 p.m. In addition, Tuesday is "Twisted Tuesday" with crazy socks, hair and hats.
- Capital High School graduates Tuesday evening. Congratulations to all Eagles!
- The Garden City Chamber of Commerce will hold a monthly luncheon at the Riverside Hotel beginning at 12 p.m.
- Local true crime author Patrick Gallagher talks about his new book, "Til Death Do Us.." at Rediscovered Books starting at 7 p.m.
