  1. The man shot by Boise Police on March 8 in Boise has been identified and charges against him have been filed. KTVB-TV staff report Gavin Donithorne, 22, remains hospitalized but when released will face three felony charges. Donithorne was shot by police after a chase from Eagle to Boise ended with him leaving his vehicle with what appeared to be a weapon. A carbon dioxide-powered BB gun was found at the scene.   2. Many Boise residents have toured the Old Idaho Penitentiary off Warm Springs Avenue but many visitors miss the attached cemetery. BoiseStatePublicRadio's Samantha Wright interviews Anthony Parry, the Historic Sites administrator with the Idaho State Historical Society over upcoming tours next week of the old prison's cemetery section. The identity of over half of those buried are unknown. (Boise State Public Radio)
  3. Working towards a goal of a 100 percent clean city by 2030, the latest addition to Boise government is an electric Zamboni at Ice World. Boise Patch carries the information on the city's newest acquisition is the first electric ice resurfacer in Idaho. (Boise Patch)

LITE-FM's Michelle Heart reports the Boise Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back its outdoor movie program for the summer but wants input of what movies are wanted in Boise.   5. A new dessert shop is open in Boise. BoiseDev managing editor Gretchen Parsons writes MJ’s Italian Ice and Custard Cafe just opened at 4103 W State St. In addition to the Italian ice and custard, the new shop also offers soft pretzels, churro donuts, and other baked goods.(boisedev.com)
