- Sad news to start the week. KTVB staff report Meridian Police found the body of a 14-year-old boy missing since last Wednesday. No foul play is suspected in the death of Nick Garvin. (KTVB)
- The Boise School Board has a new member. IdahoEdNews reporter Blake Jones writes Boise engineer Steve Schmidt joins the board after the resignation of Alicia Estey, chief of staff to Boise State University President Marlene Tromp. (idahoednews)
- Boise's recent colder weather means the fireplaces and wood stoves are starting up.CBS2 news staff report this also translates to chimney fires. Two people were recently displaced after one such fire on Seneca Dr. (idahonews)
- A true sign of the season is coming as the Idaho State Capitol’s Christmas tree and Capitol Christmas decorations will be going up beginning Tuesday. Unfortunately, there will be no in-person lighting this year as reported by Christina Lords and the Idaho Capital Sun. (idahocapitalsun)
