Suspect: Jonathan Manee, 25, Boise

Charges: Assault or Battery Upon Certain Personnel (F), Enhancement – use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony

Jonathan Manee was arrested today on a warrant for charges of Assault or Battery Upon Certain Personnel with an enhancement for the use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony.  Manee was injured in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, and released from the hospital this afternoon.  He has been booked into the Ada County Jail.

The Ada County Critical Incident Task Force (CITF) led by the Ada County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the officer-involved shooting.  The involved officer, C. Evans, a 15-year veteran police officer, was placed on paid-administrative leave per department policy.
