Here are the top stories in Boise today:
- The Boise trial of Lori Vallow Daybell on Friday only was held a half day. EastIdahoNews reporter Nate Eaton writes taking the stand in the morning was Samantha Gwilliam, sister of Tammy Daybell, Chad Daybell's first wife. After 30 years of marriage, Chad Daybell married Lori Vallow Daybell two weeks after the death of this first wife. Samantha Gwilliam testified Chad Daybell told her no children were present in the new marriage. Played in the courtroom is the 911 call from Chad Daybell stating Tammy Daybell is dead. Pictures of the scene are admitted into evidence. One of the pictures shows a pink foam on Tammy Daybell's mouth and bruising on her arm. Chad Daybell told authorities he did not want an autopsy, according to the testimony. Only after an autopsy was conducted later in Utah was the death ruled a homicide. (eastidahonews)
