Hello again, friends. It's Sunday in Boise and I'm back in your inbox with everything that's fit to print about what's happening in town. Let's do it.

Welcome to the Sunday edition of the Boise Daily. More and more elderly are showing up needing a place to live at a local shelter and ownership of some local radio stations is staying local. Some changes are being requested in the state's education system and a big kitty is making the rounds of some local neighborhoods. Finally, look back or catch up on a national upcoming murder case.

  1. Your idea of who is using services at the Boise Rescue Mission will change after reading this story. KTVB-TV speaks with Reverend Bill Roscoe regarding the increasing number of persons age 65 and older at our local mission. With rental prices on the increase locally, many elderly are finding themselves priced out of the current market. (KTVB.com)

  3. The Idaho education system is not making the grade and changes are being planned. IdahoEdNews reporter Sadie Dittenber writes the State Department of Education has proposed changes to a federally mandated plan that outlines student progress goals and a statewide accountability system.
