- A Boise State University professor is receiving some attention due to his statements of women being "more medicated, meddlesome, and quarrelsome than women need to be" when working in midlevel bureaucratic jobs. KTVB-TV staff include the university's response to the criticism of the professor's statement made during a speech at the National Conservatism Conference. (KTVB.com)
- Keeping with BSU, Boise State Public Radio's Rachel Cohen writes nearly 80% of Idaho's EMS directors report insufficient staffing and funding in their communities are leading to delayed responses when you call in an emergency. (boisestatepublicradio)
- On Friday, Idaho's largest toy drive kicked off right here in the Treasure Valley. KBOI-AM staff have all the locations you can drop off an unwrapped toy through Dec. 6. The drive benefits Toys For Tots. (kboi)
- On Tuesday, the Idaho Commission of Pardon and Parole will hear a request to reduce the sentence of a death row inmate with terminal cancer. Gerald Pizzuto, convicted of killing two people in 1985, is asking his death sentence be commuted to life in prison according to a story by the Associated Press and carried by CBS2. (idahonews)
