- The Boise man involved in an officer-involved shooting on Feb. 22 is out of the hospital and in the Ada County Jail. KTVB-TV staff report 25-year-old Jonathan Manee of Boise was released from the hospital Tuesday afternoon and faces charges of assault or Battery Upon Certain Personnel with an enhancement for the use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony. - A Treasure Valley legislator has introduced a bill requiring graduates of the state's medical school practice medicine in Idaho for four years or pay back any state money received on their tuition. The Idaho Capital Sun's Kelcie Mosely-Morris writes the cost of medical school for students is $80,000 per year and state subsidies covers approximately half the tuition. (idahocapitalsun)
- Boise State University is issuing an apology to fans after an incident involving security staff on Tuesday night. BoiseDev managing editor Gretchen Parsons obtained a “court containment plan” for ExtraMile Arena, a document stating security “staff do not go hands-on.” Multiple videos have surfaced showing security staff involved in physical altercations after the Broncos claimed a league championship, the first since the 1987-88 season. - A recent TikTok trend of shooting people with "splat guns" could result in serious charges, according to CBS2 news staff. The Ada County Sheriff's Office is warning people those involved could end up with criminal charges such as battery or malicious injury to property. (idahonews)
