- Horizon Elementary students, get excited-you have early release on Friday!

- The 5A state track meet and girls softball tournament takes place at Capital High School.

- Joining students at Horizon Elementary, students at Cynthia Mann Elementary are off at 1:15 p.m. for early release.

- State tennis takes place at Timberline High School.

- The first Locale Spring Market will take place on the corner of S. Cole Road and W. Lake Hazel Road. Local vendors, food trucks and music will be available starting a 4 p.m. and continuing until 7 p.m. This is a pet friendly event.

- Surel's Place and The Greenbelt Market are teaming to present "Friday Night Art at the Greenbelt Market" each Friday from 5-7 p.m.

- The Boise Bike Project will host a bicycle ride starting a 6 p.m. for everyone. The ride along the Greenbelt will be 5 miles with a social hour following the ride.
